welcome to.....

'Royale Ranch'
est. 21st February 2018
previously 'The Double R Ranch'

'Royale''s Project Log http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... 4&p=130607

Overview:
For the time being, "royale" does not have a specialist area within HWO. However, I am happy to say that the main areas that I am currently focusing on include: Private Training, Breeding, Breed Improvement and Competing with various breeds in a variety of competitions. So yes, its all pretty vague and broad!
Long Term Goals:
- Personal Trainer for a select Clientele.
- Break various records, of most interest is endurance.
- To be the breeder and owner of the most notorious "Australian" horses on HWO.

Please note, below data has not been updated and may not be current.

Arabians:
hmm... I think I can safely say i'm a little bit beyond Arabians now... Not that there is anything particularly "wrong" with them but... Anyhow, I do still keep some Arabians, but they no longer dominate my farm:
1. Grinders:
....

Australians:
yes, I am Australian  ;) :)
In a slightly patriotic move, i've decided to increase both the volume and quantity of Australian horses and ponies on HWO......right now, i'm working on improving what there is already...but eventually, i will go right back and start from scratch with the ancient breeds...
- Australian Stock horses: right now, the most common of the Australian breeds on HWO. currently increasing stats for *5 Evaluations, and increasing stud variety, and soon.... introducing trained ASH for competing.
- Australian Brumbies: the most iconic of Australian horses. right now, breeding half bred/part brumbies etc to full blood, but as soon as i'm happy with both my stock horse and pony evaluations, i'll see what happens :)
- Australian ponies: not focusing on this breed right at the minute (Kind of have my hands full!)
- Australian drought horses: (currently only 12 on HWO) currently looking for foundation breeds...feel free to ping me on the forum!

feel free to take a look around! :) and reply below if you want....

some great news!!! My first Brumbies have arrived!!!!

okay, admittedly, all i did was breed them from studs already on the market etc, but i'm still so pleased about them!!! (and it has taken me quite a resonable amount of time to get this far......

first up, a filly was born...yes, she is only 98% Brumby...but her title does classify her as a full blood sooo...
~TRR~ Little Red

second up, my pride and joy right now... :)
~TRR Gumleaf~

An Aussie name for a truly Aussie Horse...and what do you think of his color? kinda - with a little imagination, resembles old gum leaves :) he's got a 43 GP, and i;m training him up..cant wait to see how he goes! (oh, and he has a *5 Brumby Evaluation)

Thirdly...
~TRR~ Nineteen 'O' One

not sure weather to keep this one or not... hes only got a 2* conformation, but its difficult to increase with so few horses around... i really just need to increase my Australian Pony population and evaluations so i can create brumbies without public studding...

lastly, I have to show this girl off...
Half Australian Brumby

It was a rather dramatic attempt to increase the GP and stats...she looks beautiful (in my opinion at least) but she doesnt conform in the slightest to becoming a brumby..and neither do any of her foals...so shes aging without a legacy now... :(

Again, if you've seen other posts from me on the forum, you're probably aware that one of my current goals is to breed high stat arabians (elite, 'royale' arabians.)

first step, i'm increasing my pony tokens, painfully slowly... so i can get premium and actually get an idea of how bad, or good, the conformations are on my current arabians... if anyone could give me a few pointers on what the max stats are for each sector (balance, speed etc) for arabians, it would be helpful :)

after i get their stats straight, i want to sort out their looks...

but right here, right now, here are my best horses per conformation:

SPEED: Royale Perfection (50)
STRENGTH: TRR Dwayne (34)
STAMINA: Royale Jupiter (45)
BALANCE: Royale Denphin (58)
MOVEMENT: Royale King of the Elves (60)
AGILITY: Royale Jupiter (46)
TEMPO: Royale Lightning (49)

~TRR Royale Perfection~

speed: 50

~TRR Dwayne~

strength: 34

~TRR Royale Jupiter~

stamina: 45
agility: 46
+ i absolutely adore her appearance :) :) :)

~TRR Royale Denphin~

~TRR Royale King of the Elves~

Movement: 60

~TRR Royale Lightning~

tempo: 49

another post that "isn't really an update"......

but there are two things that really need to be celebrated.

first up, my farm has passed it 100th anniversary...*party*

and secondly.... My longest serving mare needs to be acknowledged...
meet Liesel, who passed away this morning at almost 46 years of age, after giving me 29 surviving foals....!!!

UPDATE: May 10, 2019

- Sold off almost all old stock, planning to start afresh
- Two core projects:
a.) Australian Horses
b.) Endurance Arabians

PROJECT A: Australian Horses
- to breed these from scratch, and improve into a particular competing line, dependent on the horse type, naturally
- Australian Brumby
- Australian Stock
- Australian Draught
- Australian Pony
- Ideally, create two separate lines: one completely from AC horses, and the second from already 'improved' lines. May not be possible in some cases...
- Starting point: Australian Pony (see below)

PROJECT B: Endurance Arabians
- yes, there are already thousands of Arabians out there, but my aim is to learn more about the genetics and breeding and so on of HWO by creating an exclusive line of Arabians from AC horses.
- Cannot promise they will be true to form, because I dont know much about body shape and so on, but wont be making them look like draught horses anyhow! :)

Note: neither project has precidence over the other, but I do not understand as much about 'improving' as the finer stats of genes, so project A is likely to advance faster.

....................................................................................................................................
FROM HERE:

PROJECT A:
- Breeding the Australian Pony
- Aust Pony:
- - Exmoor x Timor x Hackney x Anglo American

While the Exmoor and Timor are relatively simple to breed, the Hackney and Anglo-American are more complex.
- Hackney:
- - Arabian x Norfolk Trotter(x2) x TB
- - - Norfolk Trotter:
- - - - TB x Cleavlend bay x 2
- - - - Cleavelend Bay:
- - - - - TB x Arabian x NAB

- Anglo-American
- TB(x2) x arabian

Between the two (Hackney and Anglo-American) I will need 9 TB's.

Therefore:
- TB
- Arabian x nab x galloway x akyl

- - akyl:
- - - arab x turk

- - Galloway:
- - - exmoor(x2) x Freesian

Therefore, I will be starting with Exmoors:
- Prez x Tarpan.

PROJECT B:
- Almost the only horses I kept from last time were a whole heap of Non-greying Arabian horses. (yay!)
1. Analyse Current and past record holders in Endurance (partly done)
2. Analyse Arabian AC stock, and create a theory for my ideal horse
3. learn, breed, train, compete, and repeat!

thats all....
:)

comments, queries, questions.. help, any anything else... its welcome
