|PTP| Prestigious Thoroughbreds

Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

|PTP| Thoroughbred Standards

Post by Stormchase Stables »

Your Thoroughbred must meet the standards if it is to be accepted into: |PTP| Competitions, Contests, Studding, Examples (It could end up on a list of Notable |PTP| Thoroughbreds), and Sales.
Selective breeding is a good way to end up with a horse that fits the criteria. I wouldn't recommend sales, it is always better to know where your horse comes from, which horses it is descended from and just to keep track of breeding. Of course, studding is a great way to add new blood into your lines.

(This is based off of the Top Ranking Thoroughbreds in the game, such as SF Viva La Rico, |PV| Titan, RWC Renaissance and Flash Photography)

IDEAL BODY:
Face Profile: Slightly dished, not to an extreme level
Face Length: A bit on the longer side
Jowl: Rather shallow
Neck Length: Long
Withers: Sloped
Point of Shoulder: Very low
Ribcage: Very deep
Depth of Flank: Shallow
Hip Angle: Medium
Hip Length: Long
Leg Thickness: Thin
Stifle Placement: Forward
Back Length: Medium-Long
Croup Height: Very Downhill

IDEAL CONFORMATION & BREEDER'S REPORT:
Horse Genetic Potential (At least): 50k HGP
Stats (Optional): SPEED, stamina, intelligence
Conformation: 50+ speed, 20+ strength, 20+ stamina

I would be interested in training as well as I have completed some more courses and can now train in 3.5 years.

I've also been wondering this. I have a mare in foal, and actually one of my stallions is up for stud right now:

Since I don't train very well, I was wondering if anyone would volunteer to train the coming foal. I would like to have it back though to compete when it is trained. Thanks for this reminder, JessenJ24!

If you want, I can train the foal, although I take about 3 years to train.
