Looking For Thick Tails
Post by GrimCamel »
Alright, I need to lower my COI% and most of my horses have tails based of a single stallion generations back and I always seem to find me in the situation where I need to breed back to this line in order to maintain a good tail. So I am looking for stallions for stud (or any gender for sale) that has a tail as thick or thicker than my mare pictured below.
Since I'm breeding arabians I cannot accept drafts, maybe medium light at most but preferable light or very light. I probably won't accept horses that are too convex either unless their tail is really impressive. The tail don't need to be held high, just thick.
Thank you for your time!

I don't know if any of these would suit your fancy but I have some horses that might work.GrimCamel wrote:Alright, I need to lower my COI% and most of my horses have tails based of a single stallion generations back and I always seem to find me in the situation where I need to breed back to this line in order to maintain a good tail. These horses have slimmer tail I'm afraid. I need an equal match or better, but thank you for your timeHOrse haven wrote:I don't know if any of these would suit your fancy but I have some horses that might work.GrimCamel wrote:Alright, I need to lower my COI% and most of my horses have tails based of a single stallion generations back and I always seem to find me in the situation where I need to breed back to this line in order to maintain a good tail. I looked through all your pastures that wasn't branded as mare pastures and I didn't find an equal match or better but thank you anyway!buzzy wrote:Check out ALL of my stallion areas, I am sure you will find something to your likingGrimCamel wrote:Alright, I need to lower my COI% and most of my horses have tails based of a single stallion generations back and I always seem to find me in the situation where I need to breed back to this line in order to maintain a good tail. If its just the thickness and not the raised part i have a coupe of thick tails.
The problem is you cant use mine to lower COI% im way over 100% now. but if its for the tail only you can have him or her. I might have better tails to just no good COI anymore

Unfortunally I only have NAB/Abyssinian crosses with that thick of a tail, but maybe they could still be of help?GrimCamel wrote:Alright, I need to lower my COI% and most of my horses have tails based of a single stallion generations back and I always seem to find me in the situation where I need to breed back to this line in order to maintain a good tail.
