Find the Tiger Eye

Hello everyone and welcome to Find the Tiger Eye, the competition where I show you a bunch of foals' eyes and you tell me who has Tiger Eye and who doesn't!

How it works:
I have ten horses that I know the tiger eye status of. None of them are on this account, so no cheating by checking out my labelled horses. I've taken a bunch of pictures of them - as newborns and at monthly intervals up to their first birthday. I will post the pictures in stages - newborn pics on day 1 (today), then month 1 pics two days later, and so-on until I've posted all of the pics. With each set of pictures I want you to tell me:

• Does the foal have tiger eye?

• How many copies of tiger eye does it have?

• What coat dilutions does it have?

Make your guess for each foal posted. You will get points for your correct answers:

• 5 points - for correctly indicating if the foal does or does not have tiger eye

• 10 points - for correctly indicating how many copies of tiger eye the foal has

• 5 points for each dilution that you correctly identify - for example, if the foal is a double cream + champagne and you identify all three dilutions you will get 15 points, but if you only guess double cream you will still get 10 points! Dilutions include: cream, pearl, champagne, dun, roan, and silver

Your points will be tallied and point totals posted when a new set of pictures is put up.

You should make a new guess with each set of pictures! However, once a new set of pictures is posted guesses for previous pictures will not be accepted. Only guesses for the current picture set will be accepted.

Here is an example. Say this horse was posted:


Now say that I guessed that he did not have tiger eye, had 1 copy of the tiger eye gene, and had one cream.
I would receive 5 points. (And not be told what part of the guess was right or wrong.)

To make things easy we'll jump straight to his yearling photo:


Now say I guessed he did not have tiger, did not have the gene, and had one cream.
I would receive 15 points to add to my previous 5, giving me 20.

After this it would be revealed that the horse posted is this horse and that he in fact does not have tiger eye, has no copies of the gene, and is double pearl with roan. (I got 5 points the first time because the only thing I got right was that he didn't have tiger eye. I got 15 points the second time because I was still correct about him not having tiger eye, but also correct about him having 0 copies of the gene.)

The game itself will be harder than the example because I will ONLY be posting the eyes of the horses! You'll get a bit of a glimpse at the color directly around their eye, but you won't be able to see their body at all.

Pictures will not be in any particular order, and the order will change with each posting. (So foal number 1 in the first group might be foal number 7 in the second, etc.)

Hopefully that all makes sense, but if you're confused please post questions! I want everyone to feel confident in how to play and am more than happy to help.

4th, 1 copie of the tiger eye gene, champagne (though foals with 1 copie and with no copie of the tiger gene look similar on Champagne, so a picture of the adult horse would be essential right now lol)

From what I can see this is also a guessing game (lucky game) as well since we do not have the horse's coat when they have matured (something important to have when trying to see what its colour is and definitely something that is needed when trying to see wether it has 1 copie or not of the tiger eye gene)

The dun is also a dilution gene but it has nothing to do with a horse's eye and it does not affect its colouration so.... how can we possibly find out if the horse has the dun gene if it is a picture of its eye only?
