Red Ringing In The New Year: The Quarter Million Challenge

Bring all ye poor and downtrodden horses. All your red-strength Turkmenes and your red-movement Caspians, your Przewalskis with their feet all over the place (cripes!)!

We're going to ring in the new year with the worst stats ever.

Rules:
The entry period is open from now through 11:59PM CST December 31st, 2016. Judging will commence January 1st and results will be posted same-day so long as the hangover from New Years Eve complies with aspirin and coffee.

CAVEAT: this contest will not run with less than 10 players involved. If the timetable is determined to be too soon for suitably wretched entries, contest owner reserves the right to push the entry deadline back to an appropriate window.

Grading Criteria:
Horses will be awarded base points judged on Horse Genetic Potential per the matrix below:

<9,999 HGP: 100 points
10,000 HGP - 10,999 HGP: 95 points
11,000 HGP - 11,999 HGP: 90 points
12,000 HGP - 12,999 HGP: 85 points
13,000 HGP - 13,999 HGP: 80 points
14,000 HGP - 14,999 HGP: 70 points
15,000 HGP - 15,999 HGP: 60 points
16,000 HGP - 16,999 HGP: 50 points
17,000 HGP - 17,999 HGP: 40 points
18,000 HGP - 18,999 HGP: 30 points
19,000 HGP - 19,999 HGP: 20 points
>20,000 HGP: 10 points

Base Point Modifiers:
In addition to the base points above, additional points shall be awarded or deducted as follows:
1 red comment: +5 points
2 red comments: +10 points
3 red comments: +15 points
4 red comments: +20 points
5+ red comments: +25 points

Each green comment: -8 points
Each gold comment: -10 points


Player-Specific Rules
A player may enter as many horses as they desire. However, a player is only eligible to win one of the three top prizes. IE- a player cannot win both the Grand Prize and one of the Runner Up prizes.


Prizes
Prizes will be awarded as follows:

GRAND PRIZE: The owner of the horse awarded the most points will win a single disbursement of $250,000 in-game money.
FIRST RUNNER UP: The owner of the horse awarded the second most points will win one free fully trained horse from my Deliboz or Arabian bloodlines. Breeding selection allowed if requested.
SECOND RUNNER UP: The owner of the horse awarded the third-most points will win their choice of a newborn foal or one free studding from any of my lines. Breeding selection allowed if requested.

NOVELTY PRIZES: For every third entrant I will add a novelty criteria and prize (TBD). These will be vanity contests such as Least Likely To Succeed, Would Really Suck At Log Pulling, etc.

Each winner will receive a custom banner/badge to display in their horse or farm comments.
