you're spamming the local shows with your grinder, and wonder why you're not getting any pt or additional days...

until you've only got 1 turn left and finally realise that you're doing level 1, not level 10 shows...

That moment when...
you're working toward a breed quest...
and you've gone through a full generation...
and you've created the replacement generation to try again...
and the original mare is still bred because she's still alive...
and the new set (three apparently) is old enough and also bred...
and it's still not happening...

....

Then you suddenly get your quest completed from your ORIGINAL mare
And Also! from one of the daughters of that original mare, back to back.
And you think... all this time... throwing duds, so much that I had to create an entire replacement breeder set...
and NOW you give me one???? :|
:? :roll:

sometimes it makes you want to cry. :lol:

That moment when...
You're not working on creating new breeds...
Or not working toward some quest breed...
And you pop out new breeds with each successive generation. :|

If it were only EVER that easy. :lol:

Thank you Baladi... Abyssinian... for taking me away from the desired breed: Arabian. :?

lol... of course... then you get a few that you have never heard of before... Hucal, Dulman... then comes along a couple of grade horse....

speaking of the Grade horse...
That moment when you're trying to breed a TB and the results look like the following:
Foal 1: TB
Foal 2 -8: Grade Horse
Foal 9: TB
Foal 10- 52: Grade Horse

you think: huh, this breed, the grade horse, must have pretty similar evaluation to the grade horse: go look in the market for the book, look in the breeds wiki (surprise, the grade horse isn't there)

google..... "Grade Horse"

....facepalms.......

well, well - I learned something new that day!!! :oops: :oops: :oops:

(and sorry to everyone that i've already told ;) )

It's still funny!
There are a lot of people, even horse-people that play this game (and some other games with grades), that didn't know what one was. So you're not alone. :mrgreen:

That moment when...
You take a turn...
And it takes TWO passes on you...
But it only uses ONE Turn...
But you're used to that...
And you have not Two mares drop, but a total of TEN...
And you shrug... whatever, get through all of them at once...
Then you take another turn...
And two more mares drop...
:|
Then you realize something...
:|
And it hits you as your brain takes a double-take...
:D ALL of the mares have dropped, which means I can cruise through almost 12 months of not having to evaluate any foals!
It takes SO much time sometimes!

:lol:
I'm feeling green ---> :mrgreen:

Then I realize, it's not 12 broods, but 36.

sigh... at least I'll have a few more months of nothing to evaluate... maybe!!!

That moment when..
- you spend ages trying to create a breed, before you finally succeed;
- then you move on to the next one in the tree, and start to gear up immediately - snatch up from the market whatever you can that fits in the recipe, before your own foals ever grow up;
- then you try for the next breed - the one you geared up for - and succeed on the first try;
- you curse all your preparation, move on to the next (where half of the recipe is close to that first breed you spent ages on);
- and instead of crossbreds, you keep getting foals of that original breed.

or, another one.
That moment when..
- you pick through the stud market to find a normal size Arab x Turkmene cross;
- you realize that there are a precious few that fit the bill, and all are out of energy - the rest are simply giants;
- you try to breed one of your own - since it is such a precious rarity;
- you get three Akhal-Tekes in a row, and THEN you realize why that particular cross is so rare :lol:
