Looking For Welsh Mountain Ponies

Post by Knitting »

Looking to stud to or buy Welsh Mountain Ponies
Ideally (but won't rule out ponies that can't fulfil all criteria)
Under 14.2hh
Over 35k HGP
Not Dun
With some tobiano patterning (just a sock is fine!)

Have got plenty of money to spend on the right ponies!

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for but I thought I'd give it a try.
she'll be up for sale as soon as she delivers her foal

Thanks for getting in touch! Do you have a link to the horse you're talking about? x

I took a look at your farm and I saw that you were introducing markings in welsh bloodlines. I think it's a really great project and I was planning to work on that too (along with my welsh pony of cob type project). I also saw that you used some of my boys (I use hikko49 as a storing account with my room mate) and if you want to use any of my welshies for stud, just ask!). We can collaborate if you want and exchange ponies, I'll be interested by some of your part bred males at some point too.

Hey thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately I'm trying really hard to stay away from duns, but I'll pop a couple of my part breds with socks up for public stud and have a look through yours too!

are you sure she is dun? I looked at her pedigree and it looks more like a bukskin to me but I might be wrong as her sire seems to be carrying one version of the dun gene....

and I've just checked and all of my welsh and welsh part bred seem to carry dun at some extent or another...I hadn't noticed as most of my welsh mountains are double cream
