Could this girl be a sooty-based bay tobiano?

What about him? Rose grey? Or just a greying out regular bay?

Not sure sooty is the culprit for that first one's darker outcome. Might actually just be a dark bay. But, otherwise, yes, a bay tobiano.

Second one. We don't usually use such things like 'Rose Gray' or 'Steel Gray'. We usually call them 'graying bay'. Or 'graying' and whatever the underlying color is. When they start to fleabite, we sometimes also call them something like fleabitten chestnut. Although people don't usually change their color as the horses age. :) So, Graying Bay.

Just wanted to update how gorgeous my greying bay Arab boy has turned out! This would be fleabitten now, correct?

Edit: also, what color would this girl be?

Yes, fleabitten is correct. As an interesting aside, fleabitten has a lot of different outcomes as well. Your horse is decently covered. I acquired one recently that's even more strongly displayed.

Not all of them will fleabite and not all of them will be strong. You may need to visit the horse to see the look. The gallery image may not load by the time you look at this.

Zerlina appears to be a flaxen chestnut dun tobiano with a blanket. She will varnish toward the white and black spectrum as she ages.

Update for proof.
Arabians can also come in brown from the AC.

This mare also produced brown foals with a black AC arabian.
