What color are they?

Post by SR121 »

I'm having trouble identifying these two horses. I know they are both creams, but I do not know exactly what genes they have.

Awaken Strides is a Grey Silver Perlino Blanket.
Genetics: Ee/A?/CrCr/Zz/Gg/tt/TOn/LPlp
In order: Black / Agouti (Bay) / Cream / Silver / Grey / Tiger Eye (tt = present) / Tobiano / Leopard, Blanket and Fewspot, Snowcap
Notes:
This horse has at least one Agouti (Bay) gene. It's possible that it only has the one (Aa) or that it has two (AA). If you breed this horse to a homozygous EE Black horse and you always get a Buckskin, then AA. Else, Aa. As I currently cannot be certain of either, I've written A?.
The father is Dun. I don't think this horse is Dun, but it's possible that I can't see it under the Grey overlay, especially since this horse is such a light color. If you get any Dun foals from this horse and the other parent of the foal is not Dun, then this horse will be Dd Heterozygous Dun.
-This horse also is technically Tobiano due to the white front legs. I have written this in genetically as TOn as I don't believe it has both genes, but I've left it out of the color name as I don't personally feel that socks are substantial enough for a horse to be labeled as Tobiano.

Rich by the Ruler is a Perlino.
Genetics: Ee/A?/CrCr/tt
In order: Black / Agouti (Bay) / Cream / Tiger Eye (tt = present)
