Since then, I haven't made too much progress- just bred a few more generations of fillies. Filly GP is slowly climbing up to colt GP, and I've noticed that when they start to get close the colt GP gets a bit of a boost.
I'm very very close to being able to get a 6 month upgrade, and when that happens I can start being a little more strict about my herd.
I am also very close to Horse-Type Mediums!

Dreamboat is the first horse I am training for this project, and I'll run some local comps on her once she's fully trained to see where I am in regards to my project goals.

She has not yet reached the optimal temperament, but her best locals score so far is 11:53.1, which is almost two full minutes off of where I need to be- but I didn't expect much from a horse of these stats, so she's just about on track.
Edit:
With further testing/temp tweaking, she is now at 11:35.1 (could maybe push it a few more seconds?) which is only a minute and a half off of the goal.

He eventually was able to go about 20 seconds faster than Dreamboat- we still have a ways to go stat and GP-wise, so I'm happy about that progress.

His stats aren't where I'd like them, but that's one goal I can tick off the list, at least!

FINALLY a horse-type light

Steel Moon
Still need to get speed conformation up a bit more- I have a few horses in the upper 30s-low 40s, so I need to almost double speed- and still no highlighted comments for that OR stamina. But this was definitely an achievement!
