Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

I see so many people asking how many times can a horse mate in a day, on average. Stallions on a farm can erection up to 18 times a day and can mate up to three times a day (depending on the farm). However, in the wild, a stallion has the ability to mate with many more mares. When a lot of mares are in heat at the same time, the amount of sperms per breeding decreases.

I mean that's interesting but I'm a little confused as to how that's relevant to this topic.
