This is open to everyone who is in the HWO discord, which you can find here.


Format:
Horses in the Halter Show are judged by either how well they conform to real-life standards of the breed or how "good" their conformation is visually (based on real life conformation judging). Foals cannot be judged by breed standards visually. Unless specified that the horse will not compete against its own breed standard, all horses will be entered into the overall class, and if five horses of the same breed are entered into the same overall class, the breed standard class will run.
Horses entering the Yearling class may be aged up past a year, as long as they have a picture taken from the appropriate time.
Horses without paint or appaloosa markings will enter into the "Solid" class. Horses with paint markings will enter into the paint class, and appaloosa markings into the appaloosa class. Horses with both paint AND appaloosa markings may enter both, at the owner's discretion.
Horses will be scored out of 10 on body condition (weight and muscle, visually), head, neck, body and legs, meaning that they will be scored out of 50 points total.
The most visually appealing coats and presentation (tack) will get up to 10 extra points.

Attire:
No tack that obscures the horse's body or limbs is allowed.
Leather halters are required for foals. Acceptable halter colors are black, brown, tan, and white.
Bridles are required for adult horses. Any natural leather color, as well as white and black, are acceptable. Seasonal bridles are not acceptable.
Quartermarks are acceptable, as they do not hide the form of the horse.
