There are many ways to train a horse
1) use a public trainer. These can often finish training your horse within 4 years. They often charge around 20k depending on the quality of their service.

2) train by your self. To train by your self you need to take training courses (I am currently doing that). I suggest doing the Movement or stamina ones first 'cause they are the most useful. the Energy saver courses help too.

STORM offered some very good short information.
If your question is about the How To of the basics, you train a horse form the horse's profile page. You can only train horse's you own.
If your question is how does it work or what's the best way, take a look at our guide found in the help, guides section, it will get you started: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6285

Does that help with your question?
