Pinging!
Pinging is a way to contact a person/player on forms to get their attention

To quote you simply have to do the fallowing. (I put 1 space between each thing so you can see it right)

[ q u o t e = " players username spelled their way " ] ... [ / q u o t e]

These links will help you. Probably better then me

Making Sale/Stud Adds and Buying/Using horses/studs!!!

Buying Horses
Will work on asap!!

Here is a link that can help you more
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7313

Using Studs
When looking for a stud to use look at the fallowing!
*HGP- make sure they have a HGP that appeals to you.
*Greens/Golds- I look to see if they have at least 1-3 of them.
*Confo- if you have premium you should consider this first. Do some research in my competition section to see what is needed of horses for the event you want. Same for the greens and golds.
*Pedigree- look at the pedigree. You can see if there are champions in their blood or RH in their family.
*Prongary- look to see how meany foals they have. If you want a more private line pick studs with a few foals. If you want more known stud pick studs with lots of foals.
*Price- make sure the stud you want to use is in your price range.
*Private Studs- if you see a horse that is marked Private Stud Plz Don't Use!!! Be kind and don't use it. This means the player is using them on their side or they are letting a friend use and don't want EVERYONE using them. If you use a private stud you will most likely receive a ping about it and put you on that players bad side where they won't want to do business with later on in the game. If you do use one on accident you can just rehome the foal or ping the player and tell them it was a accident. Most players will understand. But don't be rude and use one

Making Horse Adds
When I make adds for my horses here is what I do.
-Good pic
Having a current and good pic of your horse will help you sell. If I see a horse I think looks pretty as an adult I will go look at it more. But as if it has a foal pic I won't take my time looking.

Also keeping tack off horses with patterns will help people who are look at the horses color. If it's a solid color then matching tack of the horses discipline would make it look better and make me want to buy it. But if the horse has a pinto pattern and dapples and blankets keeping tack of to show of the color will make the horse more appealing. Keep in mind this is what I look at when I'm buying horses.

-Pricing
Don't over price your horses!!! If you have a horse that has no greens or golds and has 2-5 reds then it should be cheaper. But if it has good HGP, greens, golds, and good confos then it should cost more.

Breeders report and Confo
The breeds report and confo are big for lots of players. Making the confo of the horse known and the good parts of the breeders report known will help you sell to. Showing the confo in the horse add and not just in the horses notes will make it easier for players to see and be like "oh this horse has a good confo, can I use him?"

Making Stud Adds
Making the stud adds are much like the horse sale adds.

When making a stud add if the horse has a Rh in it's close pedigree or other good horses in pedigree make it known! This will make the stud more appealable.

Same with good foals, HGP, Greens,Golds,Confo Ect. Show of all the good parts of you stud and get him out there.

Don't over price eather. Looks other similar studs and go of their prices to. If idk what to price as I do this.
-good confo = 50k
-trained and a champion = 20k-250k+
-rare breed = 15k-50k
-other idk what to price as = 5k
That's my guide of what I do for pricing studs

Here is more information about making adds. It goes way more into detail

Ok so breeding means so much in such a simple word. You have the CIO of the horse in its breeding, the Confo, the Breeders report, ect, ect.

So I'll start with explaining the CIO
The CIO is basically how much the horse is related to itself. If a horse has a CIO of 100% it means it has lots of in breeding. But if a horse has a CIO of 0% like AC horses it means it's not related to itself at all. Keeping CIO low is important to some and not so much to others.

Next we have the Confo.
The Confo gives you a more into the horse as what he/she may excel at when competing. For example a race horse that has a confo of 60 speed, 30 strength, and 40 stamina, they should be great at racing and will have a better win % of becoming a CH in racing.

But if a horse had a Log Pull confo, let's just say 60 strength, 20 speed, ect. And they were competed in racing, they would have a really low win% of becoming a CH, was as if you competed this horse in a Log Pull event he would do better.

Breeders report
The BR also gives you more info on your horse. Where if a horse has a red speed comment its not going to be good at racing, but if he has the "This horse could put run a race car" comment he could be a great race horse.

HGP (Horse genetic potential)
This tells you more about your horse, the HGP also can have an effect when champing. The most common is around 40-50k, most breeders like their horses to have 70k+ HGP to help them win. You have a crummy foal quest that wants one with 10k or less HGP (I think) this is hard to complete! These horses will not be good at competing

Evaluation
Or the Eval of a horse tells you how much your horse is to it's breed. So when using a thoroughbred eval book on a *5 Belgian, it won't be a good eval for a TB. But if you use a TB eval on a TB you may get a *5 horse

When making new breeds from scratch the horses your using to make the new breed must have a *4 eval of the breed you want

Through breeding you can get the best horses for you. You can work your way from AC horses to getting RH (record holders) after lots of time and dedication. Don't give up because it is possible! I'm still working on improving my horses to hopefully brake a RH some day. But I've just started this a few weeks ago and it may take some time!

miscellaneous questions with answers!

So here I'm just gonna go through as meany questions as I can and hopefully give a answer that will help you!

Q. What age can my female horses breed at?
A. A female horse on HWO can breed at age 4 years

Q. What age can my male horse breed at?
A. Although females can't breed till age 4 years, males on HWO can breed at age 3 years

Q. Why can I breed my colt at age 3 but he's not a stallion till age 4? Filly's can't breed till they're mares!
A. In real life males usually reach sexual maturity faster then females. So It's the same here.

Q. When will my mare foal?!
A. Mares stay pregnant for 24-26 turns. This can very if the mares is old.

Q. Will my mare pass on while pregnant?
A. Pregnant mares will not pass on while pregnant. They have been known to live to a ripe old age of up to 50 years old (I think) while pregnant. Although they can live to be old at some point they will pass on the same turn they foal
