Welcome to Wayward Ranch,

The sister of Athelas Ranch and home to the creation of original breeds

This is where we do all our testing when making original breeds that are all completely and originally my idea, I do have them written down and I am trying to come up with what they would place best with, these "Breeds" are legally under copyright laws, claiming you are the original creator of these such planned creatures, is illegal, game or not, as I do have them written down, even if they are not written here yet or even completely, I have them written elsewhere.

Not all the breeds are completely thought out, these are just basic ideas, I may change the recipes based on the qualities I'm looking for them to have, so stay updated if you're looking to breed these guys in the future. I'll also be keeping tabs of what breeds or mixes I'm in need of, if anyone has horses they would like to sell to my program -if it fits my guidelines- then feel free to let me know :)

Breed #1: Chincoteague Nymph/Miniature

About: The idea of creating this breed is to have a light structured pony with a carried tail, they are more of a showy type over anything, meant to be small pets. The game currently doesn't hold for any white markings, however in the future, these guys are pretty much just bred for beauty, though the longer legs of their heritage give it a better basis for running. They have slight incurve on their ears, too much and they could be rejected for registration. They are not really supposed to come in Appaloosa/Pintaloosa patterns because they don't have appy lines in the "legitimate breed register." They are thin for a pony breed and don't stand taller than _____, and tend to have either very haughty or very quiet personalities.

Ideal Image: Light, long legs, carried tail, slight ear incurve, any markings but appaloosa/Pintaloosa, praised for dilutions and covers such as cream, grey, and champagne.

Height: 23 inches to 50 inches

Build: Light to Very Light pony type

Body Size: 10% to 30%

Type: 80% to 65%

Recipe:

(Shetland x Turkmene)  +  (Caspian x Turkmene) = Half Turkmene

Half Turkmene +

Breed #2: Alpine Draft Horse

About: Originally created as a form of Spotted Draft, they are best known for their two types of structures and elaborate patterns. There's two groups that ADH can be categorized as by breed standards:

Cold Climate ADH: Tend to be of thicker coats and have heavy, wavy manes, tails and feathering. They are better for people who are looking for mountain climbing drafts or snow riders as the feather protects them mainly. They tend to be known for their long wiry tails and thick luscious manes, they are beautiful, however, their hair is hard to maintain without proper equipment.

Warm Climate ADH: ADH(WC) are best known to have naturally cropped tails and short manes, as their hair is fine and much like an appaloosa's hair, they don't have feathering or thick fur, and are best to be kept out of cold climates because its been found that they don't grow thicker coats in the winter.

Ideal Image: Strong structure of the Percheron, long leg length of the Friesian, long elegant neck, long-slender face with semi roman nose.

Height: 16.2hh to 18hh

Build: Medium to Heavy

Body Size: 65% to 80%

Type: 85% to 73%

Recipe:

(Percheron x Gypsy Vanner) + (Friesian x Percheron) = Percheron Cross

Friesian + Arappaloosa = (Friesian x Arappaloosa) + Percheron Cross = Alpine Draft Horse

This may change as I create the breed, and I will update the recipe as I go, but over all this is the main recipe that I'm going to try first.

Until the game actually adds in original breed creation, this breed probably won't be listed as I call it.

Shopping List:

Any cross/mix or breed I am looking for, must not have any impurities. I prefer direct recipes, so if its a Marwari, they shouldn't have any tarpan drifting somewhere in their heritage or extra Arabian breedings.

This isn't just my irk for purity and conformity, this is strictly for the reason that I am making an entirely new breed, only what I have listed to be in the recipe should be in the recipe, I will make changes to it as I perfect my work and add or redo the recipes.

I need:

-Marwari's: Prefer shorter ones for breeding

-Short Caspian Studs: Prefer closer to/under 9hh, nothing over 10hh

-Short Arabian Studs: Prefer ones Under the breed standards(14hh or smaller) like my mare "Chex"

-Turkmene: I prefer really shiny ones :3

-Chincoteagues

-Percherons

-Gypsy Vanners

-Appaloosas

-Friesians

-Arappaloosas

Fusc/Koni's Simple Guidelines:

Until I perfect a recipe I like, I will not be selling offspring publicly in case I need to remove an entire line from the data base and start over due to my dislike; for this reason, any foals that don't fit my standards will be "Rehomed". Please don't beg for a foal just because its "Oh so cute" though it might be the cutest little thing or remind you of a pony you rode, you'll have to wait until I complete the original breed its required for. You may ask to have dibs if all goes well, if you do claim dibs, I will notify you if I can't allow it's line to stay in the system. If I do sell some of my crosses and lines due to success in a completed recipe, then I won't put the horse up until you are on and ready to snag it in the sales page.

Unless I accept you as a breeding partner, please, don't try to make the breed with me before I announce it complete... I really dislike when people try to copy or do my incomplete, original work without my permission. I'm an artist and an author, that practically screams double the trouble, so please just follow my simple requests and we will do just fine. :)
