Updates:
Pine Hollow has undergone some new management practices as the owner has decided to hang up the ribbons and focus her career on breeding and management to fulfill her dream of owning a breeding facility.
Breeding
Pine Hollow offers breeding services to client mares and stallions, and offers boarding for brood mares and breeding stallions as well. Outside stallion/mare breeding and AI is also able to be accommodated as well at Pine Hollow.
Client Mare and Stallion Boarding
Boarding for Client BROOD Mares - $1200/month
This includes daily mare health checks during breeding and pregnancy season, stall cleaning and feeding twice daily, turnout daily, 24 hour foal watch cameras in stall when approaching parturition, and foaling assistance.
The Brood Mare barn includes 2 wash stalls, 1 tack room, 1 breeding and examination area, 12 gorgeous oversized stalls with cameras in stall, automatic waterers, outdoor runs in each stall, electric fly spray system, AC and Heated barn.
Boarding for Stallions - $1000/month
This includes stall cleaning and feeding twice daily, sperm evaluation during breeding season, Artificial insemination costs, breeding costs, and turnout daily.
The Stallion Barn includes 1 tack room, 1 wash stall, 1 evaluation area, 6 oversized stalls with automatic waterers, electric fly spray system, and AC and Heated barn.
Foal Care and Boarding
Foal Boarding - $800/month unweaned (with mom)
- $600/month weaned (away from mom)
Foal board is added on top of monthly board for mom and/or stallion (if present) as well.
Foal Care if unweaned includes daily health checks on foal, post-foaling treatments for 6 days after foaling, basic handling and behavioral training, watering, administering any medications needed, weaning when time comes, etc.
Foal Care if weaned includes twice daily feeding and watering, basic handling and behavioral training, administering any medications needed, turnout, etc.
If you only plan to board a client mare for her foaling, she is required to show up one month prior to expected delivery date and is required to leave 1 month after foaling. Client Mare board ($1200) will be charged for the month prior to foaling and another $600-$800 + client mare board will be charged monthly after foaling. Foals are required to be weaned at 6 months of age, where board will decrease from $800/month unweaned, to $600/month weaned. Board for foals will then increase to full price of either client mare or client stallion when foal reaches 1 year of age.
Breeding fee (live cover or AI) will be required upon breeding and charged based on stallion and mare being bred.
Facility bred and birthed foals will be for sale after 2 years of age.
