Nope, your foal can, however, lose weight and energy if it's not fed enough.Paige100 wrote:Will my foal die if my mare dies because of lack of milk?

You can't stop a foal from getting milk. You can give it feed in addition to the milk though.Paige100 wrote:So I can give it extra feed instead of milk?PeacefulOreo wrote:

Can my mare die pregnant? If so, is there any way to prevent that from happening?

A pregnant mare CANNOT die while pregnant. However, they can die the day they give birth.Crystal Buck wrote:Can my mare die pregnant? If so, is there any way to prevent that from happening?
Currently, it's written into the program that no mare can pass while pregnant. This will change at some point in the future, but is NOT that way now.
Horses gain the chance to pass on the day they turn 17 years and gain a little chance with each turn as they age up. Most horses tend to go between 22 and 23 years, but it's been known for them to live well into their late 20's. There have even been some stallions and some mares that have encroached or even passed the age of 30 without any help (being pregnant). None of these horses will ever obtain 100% chance of passing 'on the next turn'. It only ever keeps counting upward: like, 99.99999997%, until the chance roll happens to fall on that they don't survive.
Heartland2001, if you experience something different than this, you will need to report it as a bug. And don't forget to attach the horses involved.
