Question about Retirement
Post by emorrison787 »
How old are horses when they are Retired and taken away? i know you can buy horses that are 20 or older, but what age do they "retire to greener pastures?"

A horse can retire starting at 17 years of age. After that, they live to be about 30 before going to graze in those lush pastures.emorrison787 wrote:How old are horses when they are Retired and taken away? i know you can buy horses that are 20 or older, but what age do they "retire to greener pastures?"
Mares technically live longer than stallions as we can breed them constantly. Mares cannot retire while pregnant, but can do so the day of birth (Way to abandon your foals, mares ).
I think the oldest horse ever on here was in its... sixties? Not including the glitch that caused them to live until 500 xD
Does that answer your question?
