Description of the breed:
The Russian Trotter is a breed of trotting horse from the Russian Federation. It originated from cross-breeding of native Orlov Trotter horses with imported American Standardbred stock from about 1890; by about 1950 the Russian Trotter breed was considered established, although some cross-breeding with American stallions continued. A stud-book was established in 1927; in 1989 it ran to 23 volumes.
The Russian Trotter is widely distributed, from the Baltic to Siberia. In 1989 there were approximately 290,000 in the USSR, of which some 27,000 were considered purebred.
Appearance of the breed:
Correct, harmonious build, but due to the breeding features that developed at the beginning of the XX century, the modern Russian trotter can have a rather different exterior. As a rule, the Russian trotter is a dry horse, with a longish back, an inclined, dry neck of medium length, strong dry legs, proportionally somewhat shorter than the back.
Purpose of the breed:
Russian trotters were bred specifically for systematic testing of trotting at racetracks.
Description of the breed for the game:
Light horse breed, with a long neck, straight back, thin legs, relatively small body. A good and harmonious trotter may not have parameters "written" in game breed book. But also, in some cases, it is suitable for 5 stars.
A horse with poor skills is not eligible for registration with this association.
The association is intended to preserve the exterior of the breed, and its main purpose, even if I will ever leave the game.
Height at the withers is 154 to 165 cm (The game will be like this: 150-165)
acceptable exterior:
A fluffy mane is UNACCEPTABLE.
The pseudo-mandatory condition of the breed is the mohawk mane.
the usual long mane is allowed though.
Fluffy feet are not allowed!

+tobiano
+snowflake !ONLY!
Strictly forbidden palomino, and other LP
For the sake of exception, if the suit matches the speed, the horse is suitable for breeding.
