Quick afterthought:
Some Forest Horses also have thick legs. The (Belgian x Forest Horse) cross (as a cross, not a new breed) is used to make Norman Cobs. Sometimes, not often, that recipe creates an Ardennais.
This stallion is an Ardennais with good thick legs. Shorter than a Belgian and $400:
Little Rob

Or you might want to use the Breeds Wiki to look up draft breeds with heavy concentrations of either Belgian or Forest Horse. Looking at the pedigree of the grade horse in my previous message (StarLite's Red Sky), his ancestry includes both.
While I'm not absolutely certain, I think that to thicken a horse's legs in this game, it would be necessary to incorporate Belgian / Forest Horse lines. Anyone else out there ...?
Best again.

Thank you so so much! This is so much help! You are amazing, I will go ahead and use these studs, its going to be weird getting some bigger ponies in here for the first time in a very long time! I will post their foals so in order to find leg thickness in them as wellXant’hippe wrote:x

Here is my batch of babies from that one stallion (yes this means that i plan on keeping only a few of them).Stormchase Stables wrote:x
If anyone wants to help my simply putting them in order of leg thickness, then i can remove all the thinner legged ponies, and work towards getting them shorter.
Thanks in advance!

Of the Ardennais crosses in "W Mares" pasture, most are just about exactly between thin and thick! Two are a little more thick than thin. Just one is markedly thick, this colt:
Half Ardennais colt

Of the foals in "Q Fillies 2" pasture, these have thickish-to-thick legs:
Ardennais x Shetland Pony filly

Ardennais x Shetland Pony colt

Part Ardennais x Shetland Pony filly

Ardennais x Falabella colt

Ardennais x Shetland Pony colt

Ardennais x Shetland Pony filly

These two fillies have fairly thickish legs, not as good as the others, but you may want more broodmares:
Ardennais x Falabella

Ardennais x Shetland Pony
http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1311964

Looks like the Ardennais x Shetland cross is fairly effective.
I suggest you look at both Stormchase's and my notes and think about it a little more.
Best wishes,
Xan
