Foundation stock are base breed stock. Which is generally being used to define the 'first' of that breed. AC horses (horses available from the Adoption Centre), are all foundation stock and considered such.smartkid37 wrote:Ok

But as we can create a new breed through breed together relevant other breeds, the new breed (born as the new breed), can also be considered a foundation horse.
Like Kamichi Stables said, we cannot yet geld or sterilize any horse. They don't exist on this game. You will not come across any of them.
To say it another way: Every horse on here has the capacity and ability to breed (mares must be 4 and older, stallions must be 3 and older).

I've seen more geldings on game and in event shows, how is that possible if you can't geld on game? I've tried to put my stallion up for sale and just curious if someone buys it (say over time as horse ages does it become sterile on it's own?)
Does price affect horse or ownership?
say 10k?
Been having fun breeding my own horses on here and getting new breeds born.

There are no geldings yet in-game.LoveRetail wrote:...
But if you do come across one, please link it! We're all eagerly awaiting the gelding ability.
Currently there is nothing that will affect fertility in-game. In fact, every breeding will produce a foal (in about a game year).
There are a number of competitions that are gelding-only... or there were... they may still be floating around. We can certainly choose to search for geldings in many areas in-game, but they don't yet exist.
