I think this horse is a variation of flaxen chestnut but i'm not too sure?

Okay, the horse you linked, is a black turkmene.

Your horse code is correct, insofar as you used the coding right, but you didn't use the horse id that connects it to the horse you want to link to. The horse id is found at the end of the address bar. It's that long number you see at the end, after the last backslash.

The one you wanted to use, with the name you offered, has an id of: 2144905

So:



And you're correct, this horse IS a flaxen chestnut. Any chestnut horse that has a lighter mane and tail then the rest of their body IS a flaxen express-er, therefore a flaxen horse.
On this game, there are different varities of each gene, from extra expressed (for flaxen, it can come across as almost white) to extra gentle (a 'true' version of cryptic).
