Silver black, dapples do give that away. Blue eyes tell us quite distinctly that he is NOT a double pearl. Double pearls keep their dark eyes.Sawd10 wrote:Hello, BlackOak2! I have a quick color question.BlackOak2 wrote:..
Is this possibly a Silver Black Dapple Pearl?
If not, what is he? Thank you!
He received a cream from his sire. His sire comes down from a pair of silver buckskins, which means 'turbo' is a smoky silver dapple.
His dam, Dancing Fortune, is a little more difficult. She appears to be a black, there is an early photo, but not one as a newborn. However, her dam, Riddle, is a smoky black.
This brings me to the conclusion that this colt, Greatest Fortune, is a double cream. So silver smoky cream dapple... or something similar.
Don't forget to check it out!
