Tarpan Mare : What color?
Post by KingoftheWindlover »
I have this one mare, named Thee Little One+, and I'm not sure what her color is. Here's her link:

Frankly, I could use help identifying the colors of all of my horses, if you would like to add, but that one in particular has me stumped. If you can help, I would appreciate it a lot.

Based on the brown on her face I'd say she is a very dark bay dun, sometimes called zebra dun.

Took a look at your other horses. Here are some notes for you:
Zipp-on* - This horse is a bay/zebra dun. The neck stripes are part of the dun coloration. (This same note applies to the rest of your duns as well.) Those particular appy spots are called snowflakes.
Lucy Lue+ - Apart from being bay dun, this horse has very heavy pangare/mealy coloration.
Little Chile - This horse is actually a double-dilute. Looks to be a palomino pearl. Also, flaxen does not show up on palomino as the manes of the palominos are naturally white. He could carry it, but you won't be able to tell by looking at him.
Donna June+ - Another zebra dun.
Spirit Drakon, Dear Future+ - Both are zebra dun with snowflakes.
