How to get rid of a horse

So I can't remove a horse that has a foal, but is there any other way to get rid of it except selling it? It isn't a very good horse, just a foundation.

You have to wait for the horse to die. I sometimes buy cheap older horses off the market and let them live out the rest of their days in a pasture. As soon as one of my other horses die, I can take her off your hands if you need.
