Mongolians

Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Ooo! I know I've already hit up Shibai Sun at least once... and I am kicking myself for saying that I want to stick to genes that show up in the real-life breeds, because I would be all over that gorgeous champagne boy otherwise.

I am highly interested in your colt with the 4* Sorraia rating, though! Let me know when he's grown up and I'll try working him into my Sorraias.

I'll give you a headsup when he's grown ;) and apart from the champagne he only has the natural genes, so you could theoretically try him still it's a only 50% chance that the cham will be given :)

I'm very frustrated with my own Tarpan ladies at the moment, so I'm waiting for my latest filly to grow up, and then I'll hit up your boy.

Do that, I feel for you ^^' (there is a saying in german along the lines of "shared suffering is halved suffering" - that may apply?) ;) What do your tarps do to make you frustrated; or don't do, if I may ask?

Mainly, I've been trying to get my herd up to a healthy number again, trying to get my females to pass on solid genes to the next generation of Tarpans before they age out--and give me more fillies while they're at it, haha. It seems like they only ever pass on good genes to male foals. So, any mares that have stats suitable enough to aim for Sorraias with are busy trying to make more tarpans before they die.

I do have that one really good girl that should be ready to breed soon, though. Her body size is still way small for Sorraia, but her stats are nice (and I think she's exceptionally pretty, for a Tarpan.)

She is nice (I like these dark bay-types) ^o^ right, the bs seems to be always dropping for me too -.-' and I've heard somewhere that males always carry a greater likelyhood to be better than the mares (which is a bit sh*tty because most times I try to keep more mares than males).
though, for the sorraia I always seemed to be of by the pony type eval rather than the bs, it was alway close but then the parents decided "hey, let's raise it for our foal, neither of us is that high but still " =.=* annoying at best...
