Tobiano/pinto genes?
Post by ɴ ᴀ ʀ ᴀ »
Hi!
Does anyone have a clue how to gene-code the new tobiano/pinto genes? Are there official names for the alleles? Are they dominant or recessive? Is the pattern random or is it dependent on parent patterns or if the horse is homozygous or heterozygous for the allele?
Could anyone help me with (some of) these questions?
Thank you!

All of the new giant are tobiano. Tobiano is dominant. Patterns are genetic.
