When I tried to make a West African Barb using an Arabian mare and a North African Barb stallion, it made a Baladi. But I used the breeds that it said on the Breeds Wiki. Why didn't it make a West African Barb?

You need to use the West African Barb Evaluation book and evaluate the Arabian mare and a North African Barb stallion. The closer to a 5* evaluation they both are with the West African Barb, the better your chances are at creating a West African Barb.chloemccoy13 wrote:When I tried to make a West African Barb using an Arabian mare and a North African Barb stallion, it made a Baladi. After I buy the book, do I need to do more or is that all I do?

To evaluate your horses, go to their pages, click on the tab labeled 'Eval', highlight the book and click evaluate. You will see how close your parent horses are to that breed. If they're highly rated, your chances for success go up. But even if the foal pops out perfectly, there is always a chance you will come out with a cross, or in some cases, another breed (if the recipe is used for multiple different breeds). So even for a perfect foal, you may be disappointed. That being said, with perfect parents that pop a perfect foal, it's a 50/50 flip of the coin, Try It Again!chloemccoy13 wrote:After I buy the book, do I need to do more or is that all I do?
We all get disappointed when it doesn't come out perfectly. For more in-depth reading, try this link:
