Here's what I think for barrel racing:
1. MFI Uncle Mo-Seek Rich
2. TBF Lightening a Sequin
3. Autumn Wind
4. $HC003$ Snowstorm
5. MSH Lovelace
6. Lavender lace
1. I believe that Uncle should be first because of his conformation and times. He is the only one of the horses that consistently hits 21 seconds in this event, and if you look at his hindquarters, they look powerful and capable of getting that necessary, quick "snap" at the start. He is at high strung, and since spirited is the best temperament for barrel racing, I think that's good enough to put him in first. He is also moderate, the best weight for barrel racing.
2. I believe Sequin should be second because of his times, weight, and temperament. He consistently hits 22 seconds, and he is high strung. Again, although spirited is the best temperament for barrel racing, high strung is good enough for me. He is also moderate. Honestly, the only thing that I believe would push him out of second is the fact that he is not wearing Western tack, and there isn't a picture in his gallery showing him with Western tack. What do you guys think?
3. I believe Autumn should be third because of his times and weight. Yes, he hits 23 second a lot but he has also hit 22 seconds before. What I have noticed when I am competing my own horses is that scores fluctuate, and he has been on 23 seconds for a while, but it is coming down. Logically, then, I would assume from my experience of competing horses that he would hit somewhere around 22 seconds his next time out. A plus is that there are pictures of him wearing Western tack. =)
4. I believe Snowstorm should be fourth because not only is he fleshy (the highest weight a horse should be in barrel racing is moderately fleshy), he is also bombproof. He has only ever had 1 first place in barrel racing, and hits 23 seconds more often than 22. Looking at his conformation, I do not believe he would have the "snap" to win. I don't think that he could beat horses like Uncle and Sequin in real life.
5. I believe Lovelace should be fifth because she is pregnant as I am looking at her right now, wearing English tack instead of Western, very fat, and only even-tempered (which is closer to spirited than bombproof though). She occasionally hits 24 seconds, and almost never hits 22 seconds.
6. I believe Lavender Lace should be last because she is not trained as well as the others and does not have a competition history (so it would be stressful for her to compete against horses that do). However, I do like that she is spirited and moderate! Her speed conformation is sadly only 19 though.
What do you guys think?

I agree since it's mainly based on red stats and low HGP. Eartha seems to have zero PPS in everything she's tried to compete in as well as red stats and the lowest HGP, so I too would put her as #1. Though Locket's HGP is not as low as eartha's I'd put him at second because of his high strung temperament in addition to having two red stats.RenegadePegasus wrote:Bucking Broncs:

I'll do Pole Bending (it's my favorite horse riding sport!). Our entries for pole bending:

#1. MFI Sahara Desert. Where do I begin? I don't think I've ever seen such a stellar pole bender! My first reason for choosing him as the first place horse is that he has actually broken many pole bending world records. He is the current record holder for levels 6, 7, 8, and 9, and he has broken his previous records. His win percentage is 98.3%, which is absolutely amazing since he has 43,669 point in pole bending. The fact that his win percentage is almost at 100% despite having a crazy amount of points and being entered into about a thousand comps shows us that this truly is a super horse. His temperament is spirited, which is the ideal temperament for pole bending. He has three gold stats and a good HGP.
#2. ◇Red Bandit◇. Horsefeathers! If I'd known that a horse that I'd bred would turn out to be such a good pole bender I never would have sold him! He is a Master Grand Champion (MGCh.) in pole bending as has a good win percentage of 94.3%. His temperament is spirited, which is perfect for this particular sport. He has three golds and one green, and his HGP is a good 61,551. He has good times (judging by comparing his times to the record breakers' times), reaching into the 27-second range like some of Sahara's times. I think he definitely deserves second place. Who knows? He may break a record someday!
#3. {MCST} Smokey. I think she is the third place horse because, not only does she have the highest title in Pole Bending, she also still has a high win percentage unlike others whose win percentage may plummet long before they reach SMGCh. She is high strung, which is close to spirited. I can't believe I actually trained her a while back, she's come so far! However, her results are not as stellar as Sahara's or ◇Red Bandit◇'s despite the fact that Smokey is great at what she does. Also, her weight is very fat and she is not shown wearing western tack, instead wearing english tack.
#4. {MCST} Cherokee. Cherokee is a fine-looking Thoroughbred with a champion title in Pole Bending. His win percentage is currently at 100% and his temperament is high strung, close to spirited. I would put him at fourth because, though he has good pole bending stats, he has only entered one pole bending competition. He did win first place, but also earned all of his points in that one competition. This means that we don't truly know his potential until he enters more, since one competition is not really the most reliable source to judge a horse's true performance. Cherokee has two golds and one green with a good HGP of 59,359.
#5. Bluegrass Royal Chariot. An award I gave to my friend a while back, Blue is a Master Grand Champion. However, his title is not in pole bending. I think he is fifth because, although he has great stats and HGP, his win percentage in pole bending is only 66.7%. However, he has won two out of three competitions, so maybe he will get better as he is entered more.
#6. Sacred Law. Though he is pretty and has gold speed with a conformation of 50, he is an adoption center horse with a pole bending win percentage at 41.7% after twelve starts. He does not have any reds which is great for an AC Turkmene (they usually have red strength). However, I do not think that pole bending is his forte.
