At least he doesn't have the belgian butt!!!Silverine wrote:I think it's mostly his long neck that looks kind-of "off". Kind of like a giraffe without the spots. He might look better if I ever age him enough to grow out his mane.BlackOak2 wrote: He is a gorgeous horse for more than just his coat. His uphill slope does make his light-weight body a bit odd to look at, but it's not a bad look. His hips and the muscle toning make it just the right combination, that although it's a bit odd, it still looks right.
I think his mane will grow in too, when it does, it might change his long-necked look a bit more.

Wow! I'm a little envious that you were able to pop such a nice set of colts! Good thing I own the mares!Silverine wrote:Look who loves Show JumpingBlackOak2 wrote: .
And still strong in saddleseat. It's great that it worked out quite so nicely.
Also, great name for a new line too.
Still would've preferred a brown coat, but he does have some nice dun and sooty starting to show, there, across the neck and withers. Sadly, sooty isn't too strong in the line, so if down from the mare, it won't be much more than that.
Congrats!

My response to the ~*$HWO Lottery$*~ discussion.BlackOak2 wrote:
Yes that is reasonable. I guess you have no reason to trust me, . I will give you the name of the lottery winner at the end lottery date!
And to show you what I would be doing with the brood...viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27577 have started a new breeding project named Le' Grand ♦बड़ा♦ trying to beat Bitapetrones world records. I have access to an amazing stud him my partner owns him and I already have a few of his progeny but I don't have mares that are strong enough in that category yet.
Our main focus is on racing but we are going (eventually) to have horses that range from Log Pull to Show Jumping to Pole Bending. We want to have very strong horses in their disciplines and achieve very high in their levels. As I was new and searching the World Records and Top Horses I found that Bitapetrones horses were by far the best (my opinion). The only difference is that our horses are going to be all different breeds shapes sizes and colors.
I hope I have explained what I would do with her. Thank-you for giving me this opportunity to prove myself.

Keep me appraised of your recent in-training stock of four. The ones that you sent to Leopard Horse for training. When they start competing, let me know what the best scores are, if they're within striking distance of the Rh, then we'll discuss an appropriate breeding, either using only my stock, or a mix.
If you want to look at some of what I have (not all will be available, and I have a few in board elsewhere, so it's not my entire line), feel free to browse the following pastures:

I really like the look of this one here https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2200052
I can keep you in touch for the 4 in for training. If it is possible we could breed ^^ and her stud that should make a very nice foal. If not please let me know what we can do.
Thanks again.

Rust And Char will not be available, nor will her mother be available either, they come from private lines I do not yet have the authority to allow outside breeding to. And actually, I wouldn't recommend her anyway, she's a bit weak in certain areas and I haven't pinned down where or why just yet.Grand Prix wrote: I can keep you in touch for the 4 in for training. Depending on if you want light or heavier, there's a few different ones I could suggest.
Such as:
Light weight ones that would probably be good broods with out-mixed stock:
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2306177 - a stronger stud should work, i.e. good heart
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2403985 - should mix well, but may lack some heart passage
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2326774 - very promising talent in this mare.
I have a couple heavy ones too, though I'm lacking a bit on mares.
The stallions, I have all types and most matches with my mares turn out perfectly, in the very first popping.

Ok, so I really like the look of these two https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2326774 , https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2403985 . And I completely understand about the private lines .
I do have someone helping with heavier stock so that wont be necessary. But thank-you for that generous offer.

Once we see the outcomes of those foals, I'll see about an appropriate match for one of those two mares... or perhaps another, I do have a current mare pregnant with the next generation.Grand Prix wrote:BlackOak2 wrote:

For pole bending... many of the records have been broken recently... I'll be expecting to see...
hmm....
28.10 seconds in poles... That's not too difficult I think and yet still a daunting task for this bunch. That would be an improvement over the sire by approximately 7 tenths of a second. And for the filly, I'll make it 28.50. This will not only test the bloodline for improvement, but also test your ability to manipulate your foals to get the most that they can give.
After they've been tested and you think you've gotten the best they can give, then let's see the best time of any of them (with a .4 difference in the filly accounted for) and how close your horses are to that goal time.

I can do that. Completely off topic but I have been trying to find the best Pole Bending studs recently and I have found a few but nothing compared to Lepords. I am hoping that the filly does good enough in PB to be bred to him. I don't want to waste perfectly good breeding for a horse I don't think can produce a good enough foal.BlackOak2 wrote:Once we see the outcomes of those foals, I'll see about an appropriate match for one of those two mares... or perhaps another, I do have a current mare pregnant with the next generation.Grand Prix wrote:

I will test them myself or send them to someone else. I haven't figured that out yet because I would like it done asap and with a trusted player so I will most probably do it myself.
I will keep you updated on their progress and I will give you the links for the Le' Grand ♦बड़ा♦ pastures so you can keep track as well.
Pole Bending & assorted
Log Pull
More coming with more room for pastures & horses.
I have also just bred
this filly
and was wondering if you think it is worth me getting her trained? I would really love your professional opinion.
