Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Fairly new Arabian breeder here. I've decided to develop a completely fresh line from Adoption center Arabs and I'm trying to see if I can keep them completely pure ( meaning I won't be incorporating any of the other basic breeds.) At this point the highest GP I've got is 39 and at the moment I'm trying to establish black coat colour in my herd. I'm also adding one or two fresh adoption center horses every generation to try and keep my COI down.
And in response to the conversation, I also feel that the Arabians don't look that distinctly Arabian...

The adoption centre doesn't have the best examples of Arabians the game is capable of. They are a random mix of possible genes an Arabian could have, including the worst possible Arabians. The fun of HWO is breeding from stock to a better example of the breed.

Yes, I understand that. I was looking through the best Arabians on the ranking page and through a few farms that had high ranking Arabians and didn't really have the classical Arabian look. But I guess that might just have been because those breeders were more focused on stats.Tom wrote:The adoption centre doesn't have the best examples of Arabians the game is capable of. If you want, you may look through my farm for any similar horses.GrimCamel wrote:Sorry for hijacking this old thread but I was looking for breeders who is trying to achieve the arabian characteristics. Arabian probably being the biggest breed in the game I can tell from my week of membership its a pain trying to find studs that got the looks and ofc a pedigree. I don't understand the anatomy some people are going for.
My personal goal is to have horses look something in style with Ajman Moniscione or his father WH Justice (google them if you dont know them). I've seen so many beautiful fillys and colts fathered by these two (especially Ajman) and its not rare that I see horse I like on a show or at a breeders place that I think look stunning and when I look in the pedigree I find Ajman.
Anyway, back to topic. People breeding arabians with arabian characteristics, please give me a hint or point me in the right direction someone else who offers these kinds of horses for studs.
I plan to make certain anatomy traits heavy in my pedigrees before I aim to improve stats so stats don't really matter but its always nice with studs with stats
To make sure I don't steal any content from some photographer, here is a picture I photographed many years ago of a black filly which has the head characteristics I am seeking among other characteristics.
hi!
Im also trying to breed arabians with "arabian features" especially the very dished face.
Been quite an adventure BUT finally a filly was born of one of my mares and she looks like her face is pretty dished so hopefully she will look Arabian when she hits 4.
Would love to partner up if you are interested!

Hello, I have many Arabian stallions, that are purebred, well-mannered, and have great conformation. Please come check me out. If there are any particular horse you would like to breed I can breed them for you or make a special offer to you. The special offer would be that you may use anyone of my horses for breeding.

Hello!
I'm quite new here but I decided I want to breed arabians.
I started with her and even though she doesn't look "arabian" I want her to be my base. x)
Vivid Features
I want to breed small, very-light arabians with arabian's features - profile and high tail. I would also like to start a like of black ones.

I just wanted to see what stats everyone is getting with their arabians?
The best mare of mine has 6 gold stats, most of my mares are 5 gold 1 green though.
The best stallions I have are 6 gold 1 green.
