Lighter parts of chestnut

Post by TheSpottedCat »

Is there a reason why Betony have lighter parts of the body than Hedgenettle? They are full siblings. Have Betony just not grown out of the foal coat yet, even at soon 5 years of age? I wouldn't think pangaré/mealy would show up in my stock...

edit: Oh, I actually missed that their father has the same lighter parts, but also have a ton of sooty. I'm tired and whimsy I suppose. But still... what is the colour?

If you look closely at her father, he is mealy/pangaré as well.
