You may have made a mistake in the amount the prize money is. The purse is $2,923 and the entry fee is $5,000 according to the link you posted. I don't think anyone is going to want to enter if they entry fee is higher than the purse.

When you create a competition, the initial purse comes out of the players money. The entry fee is split in half. Half goes to the purse and the other half goes to the player who created the competition. The reason that people do not like to enter competitions where the entry fee is higher than the purse is because the creator gets half of each entry fee.

This never, ever happens. Also, to prove to you that it's impossible, I've been watching the competition for a while now. People enter, you make new comps, more people enter, NOTHING changes.
